Workshop PPP Statement

Purpose:

To increase participants skill and confidence with respect to handling conflict situations in a way that increases the probability of positive outcomes. The Thomas-Kilmann Conflict Mode Instrument, will increase both participant skill and confidence with respect to handling conflict situations.

Products:

By the end of this training, participants will be able to:
  • Appreciate the effects of both too much and too little conflict
  • Apply several conflict resolution models to a wide variety of conflict situations
  • Adjust their behavior to increase the probability of successful conflict resolution
  • Identify their most and least preferred conflict strategies and know when to use each
  • Assist others in resolving conflict situations
